Promotion of the A1 Improved Cookstove (ICS), allowing up to 50% fuel savings compared to the traditional 3-stones cookstove

In early March, GERES Myanmar attended the Dry Zone Green Village Award Ceremony organized by the Dry Zone Greening Department (DZGD) in Magway Region. It was the occasion to strengthen GERES’ relationship with DZGD and to start the promotion of the A1 Improved Cookstove (ICS) produced in the region. DZGD is a department of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environmental Conservation dedicated to the development of greening solutions and the prevention of deforestation in the Dry Zone.
